Doing something new, whether it's starting a new job, moving house, or enrolling on a coding bootcamp like Northcoders, can be pretty nerve-wracking when you're not quite sure what to expect.

At Northcoders we work hard to create training opportunities for underrepresented groups in tech.

Since Northcoders was founded in 2016, we've helped 350+ people learn to code and find rewarding work in software development. During this time, we've also built up a huge network of developers who love passing on their knowledge to the next generation coming up through our coding bootcamps. 

We caught up with Manchester-based tutor Izzi to find out how she got into coding, what it's like working at Northcoders, and hear her advice for anyone who wants to learn to code!
