8.30 - 8.45am: Time to Get Set Up for the Day
8.45 - 10.00am: Daily Morning Lecture
10.00am - 12.30pm: Get Coding
12.30 - 1.30pm: Lunch Break
1.30 - 2.30pm: Afternoon Seminar
2.30 - 3.30pm: Keep Coding

Written feedback
In addition to verbal feedback during check-ins and one-to-ones, Mentors provide detailed written feedback on each student's code once a week.
This feedback highlights areas of strength, identifies knowledge gaps, and offers specific suggestions for improvement, helping students refine their coding skills and adopt best practices.
Lectures
Lectures are a cornerstone of the Northcoders bootcamp. Held every morning, these sessions introduce new topics in a structured and comprehensive manner.
Delivered live on Zoom, they create an interactive environment where students can engage directly with experienced Cohort Leads. This daily dose of theory is essential for building a strong foundation in coding principles and technologies.
Seminars
Seminars complement the morning lectures by providing a deeper dive into the day's topics.
Conducted in smaller groups, they facilitate interactive learning and ensure that students can ask questions and discuss concepts in detail. Seminars are tailored to the group's progress, making them highly relevant and effective for reinforcing new knowledge.
Sprints
Practical coding time, structured as sprints, is at the heart of the Northcoders curriculum.
Sprints last 2-3 days and involve pair programming, a practice that mimics real-world coding environments. This hands-on approach allows students to apply new concepts in practical scenarios, fostering both technical skills and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
Check-ins
Regular check-ins with Mentors ensure that students receive continuous support and feedback.
These sessions help identify and address any issues early on, keeping students on track and motivated. Check-ins also provide an opportunity for students to discuss their progress and receive constructive feedback on their work.
One-to-ones
Personalised one-to-one sessions with Mentors are a key feature of the Northcoders experience.
