Deferred

Pay your 13-Week Bootcamp Fee over 22-24 months, interest-free.

  • The total you will pay is £7200, including the Introduction Week fee and 13-Week Bootcamp Fee.
  • You'll pay a £250 deposit towards your 13-Week Bootcamp Fee. If you're claiming from the Gender Diversity Fund, your deposit will be £230.
  • Then, you'll pay £250 each month until the balance is paid in full, starting after you begin the course. This option is interest free.
  • You must be a UK citizen to qualify – we require this because we work with an FCA-regulated approved partner who help us deliver this payment option.
  • This scheme is subject to affordability checks, conducted by an FCA-regulated approved partner.
  • If we're unable to offer you our Deferred payment plan, you can still join Northcoders by using our Advance payment option, or a Finance option
  • To qualify for this payment method, you must complete your Entry Challenge and sign up to the course at least two weeks before your start date.

Advance

Pay less by completing your Entry Challenge and paying your course fees in full at least two weeks before your course begins.

  • The total you will pay is £6700, including the Introduction Week fee and 13-Week Bootcamp Fee.
  • You must be able to make full payment at least two weeks before your start date in order to qualify.

  • When to apply - Only apply after you have been offered a place on a Northcoders course.
  • Process - After applying, it usually takes a few minutes to get a decision.
Future FinancePreview: Future Finance

Future Finance provide flexible loans for students on our coding bootcamps.

  • Pre-approval - You can get a quote and be conditionally approved for a loan up to 3 months in advance of your desired start date, whether you have applied to Northcoders or not.
  • When to apply - Only apply after you have been offered a place on a Northcoders course.
  • Process - After applying, it usually takes 2-3 weeks to confirm your loan if you are accepted.
CoursebudPreview: Coursebud

Coursebud can help you find a suitable loan to spread the cost of our coding bootcamps.

  • Pre-approval - You can get a quote at any time, whether you have applied to Northcoders or not.
  • When to apply - Only apply after you have been offered a place on a Northcoders course.
  • Process - After applying, it usually takes between 45 minutes and 48 hours to release funds if your application is accepted.

Gender Diversity Fund

Women and those belonging to gender minorities can claim up to £500 from our Gender Diversity Fund to contribute towards the cost of their 13-week Bootcamp Fee.

You may belong to a gender minority if, for example, you are non-binary, intersex, transgender or have transgender history.

Our Onboarding Team can help you access funds once you are ready to secure your place.

If you use the Deferred payment scheme, your deposit for the 13-Week Bootcamp Fee will be £230, rather than £250.

  • Are there eligibility criteria for your Deferred payment option?

    To qualify for our Deferred payment option, you must be a UK citizen – we require this because we work with an FCA-regulated third party who help us deliver this payment option. If you aren't a UK citizen, you can still join Northcoders by using our Advance payment option.

  • How are payments taken on the Deferred payment option?

    After you graduate, you will pay £250 each month until the balance is paid in full. This is also known as a deferred payment plan.

  • If I use the Deferred payment option, how much do I have to pay upfront?

    Firstly, you'll need to pay the fee for Introduction Week, which is £950.

    Secondly, you'll need to place a deposit of £250 towards the cost of your £6250 13-Week Bootcamp Fee.

    The total you will pay is £7200. If you're claiming from the Gender Diversity Fund, the total will be £6700, and your deposit will be £230 rather than £250.

  • Will I pay interest on my tuition fees if I use the Deferred payment option?

    No, there is no interest on our Deferred payment option.

  • When should I apply for finance?

    You should only apply for finance with any of our lenders once you’ve been offered a place 
on our Coding Bootcamp

  • Can I get help covering the cost of Introduction Week?

    Potentially. Some of our finance partners, including Knoma and Coursebud, may be able to offer you a loan that would allow you to cover the cost of Introduction Week.

  • Can I still use the Advance payment option if I claim from the Gender Diversity Fund?

    Yes, they can be used in conjunction. If you use both, the total you will pay is £6200.
