How did you find your time on the bootcamp?
I was very happy during the course, I really enjoyed it. It was not too easy but also not too hard. I had to keep my attention all the time, the staff were very helpful, I know I ask too much but they were always ready to help me.
Amul and Chris supported and helped me, I wasn't worried about getting a job because I know they do their best and I trust them
What were you doing before the bootcamp and what made you apply?
I was working as a computer engineer, but because of the war in my country, I came to UK. I needed to get a job, but with no experience of working in UK it was difficult to get a good job.
What was the support like on the course?
The teaching team ... well, I hope I can find the most wonderful words to say about them, they are amazing, they gave me all support I needed. They know how to pass information to all students, even with my low level English, they knew how to make me understand the subjects they were teaching. They were there for us whenever we needed them. They always tried to understand my ideas and help me code them. Many thanks to all of them!
How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?
Amul is there to help getting a job quickly - he would not stop worrying until we get jobs, so I didn't need to search for a job, he did. Amul and Chris supported and helped me, I wasn't worried about getting a job because I know they do their best and I trust them.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?
If your dream is coding, apply now to Northcoders, they can help you achieve your dream.
Anything else you would like to add?
To be or not to be, it's not fatalism, it's your decision and your choice. So...do not stay just playing games, using websites and applications...try to make them by yourself!
