Our App is made for the casual gym goer, inspired by our personal experience of using other gym apps and finding their focus on metrics intimidating. To solve this, our app has a simpler UI, making it easy for the user to log their progress. We also implemented basic gamification aspects in order to keep the user motivated to use the app.

We used: React Native, MongoDB, Express, Bcrypt.js, Victory Native, WebGL, Express-Validator
This Stack was optimal for developing a Mobile App with a sleek UI design. React Native also allowed us to use our experience with React. Our backend(MongoDB, Bcrypt.js) was optimal to ensure User privacy and user data could be handled efficiently. WebGL allowed greater freedom when styling UI elements compared to CSS.
Challenges Faced
Using Expo Go to view our app on mobile. Trying to keep our WebGL context. Validating user sign-in.
