Team 5 of 5 present Walking Lunch

Walk a marathon a month with custom routes showing local eateries and spots of interest.

We have created an app to fill the lunchtime void, removing people from their desks and combatting the sedentary lifestyles. We encourage exploring new areas everyday, having an in-depth look of the cities around us, discovering things we never knew existed despite being on our doorstep, creating a new daily routine of not having a routine. Our app provides customised multi-stop routes offering the opportunity to both enjoy lunch and spend your time visiting a local landmark, removing the need to input exactly where you want to go in those A-B direction platforms. It is ideal for travelling workers visiting a new areas and those trying to escape the monotony of the same everyday routine. To encourage better habits during lunch we track daily steps across the week and give our users an aim to walk a marathon a month during lunch time, making the most of the hour.
