This app is for the space-loving community. It allows people to connect and share events, pictures, and chat about their passion. The idea came from one of our team members who is very excited about the galaxy and wanted to play with a sky map.

We used React.js bootstrap axios, Firebase.

Firebase was a new technology we wanted to use. It was ideal for our instant chat function as it updates in real-time, therefore updating immediately when anybody sends a message or uploads a picture. It also allowed us to use Google authentication to log in and gives users a frictionless sign in experience that is safe and secure. We decided to use react.js as it is ideal with web-based applications and we were familiar with it already.
