We are Smashed Tomatoes and we would like to present to you Scan n Pan, the must have tool to Quickly find recipes utilising foods that you already have around the house, turning your leftovers into delicious meal ideas.
This is a recipe app that dynamically shows you recipes based on foods you input, you can input these by either using the built in barcode scanner, or by manually typing them in.
It is aimed at people who regularly throw away leftover food, or have food lying around that they don't know what to do with

We used Firebase, React Native, Expo.

Firebase made our backend process very simple and quick to setup, React native was great for writing one piece of code and being able to use it on all platforms and expo was used to actually display our app on our phones, plus it has a built-in barcode scanner.
