The idea behind wePark is that it's always hard to find free parking in new places, especially cities, and basically all parking apps only show expensive spaces.
wePark allows users to share parking spots they have found with the community and earn kudos for good spots, and locate other people's spots to use. Users can then upload pictures, vote, comment and favourite spots.

We used React Native, Expo, Google Places API, Tailwind, React Native Maps, AWS, PostGreSQL, PostGIs, Nodejs.

Expo and React native allowed us to test the app on each of our phones and make it compatible on both ios and Android. Google places and React Native Maps allowed us to store data of added coordinates and dynamically change the queries based on where the user searched and scrolled on the map. PostGIS allowed us to store location data in the backend, AWS allowed us to store photos online.
