Students using this scheme will be able to learn how to code at Northcoders and wait until they graduate and start earning a regular wage before beginning tuition repayments. This is also known as deferred tuition.
To qualify, you must:

> Be able to show us that you’re committed to learning to code and finding work as a software developer in the North of England.
For more details, contact us.
It’s easy. Just apply using the form below. You'll need to tell us a bit about why you want to learn to code with Northcoders and why you want to work in software development.
Read our Study Now, Pay Later FAQs below for more information.
Women and those belonging to gender minorities are massively underrepresented in tech. And we think it’s time something changed.
By making dozens of deferred tuition places available with the Study Now, Pay Later scheme, we want to close the gender gap in the North and create a more inclusive environment for the next generation of tech workers.
We’ve made 20 places available through this scheme on our cohorts in Manchester and Leeds starting in September, October and November 2019.
After you graduate and start earning a regular wage, you will pay 10% of your gross income each month until the balance is paid in full. This is also known as a deferred payment plan.
For more information about how deferred payment plans work, contact us.
No. While repayments may be linked to inflation, you won’t pay any interest.

You’ll need to pay a £300 deposit to show you’re committed to your place on the course.
Nope. Absolutely not. You won't need to know a line of code (or even what a line of code is) to apply for Northcoders. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a degree, A-levels or GCSEs, you’re still eligible to apply.
Are you a woman or someone who belongs to a gender minority? Do you want to learn to code and work in the tech industry? If you answered yes, and you can show that you have a strong commitment to learning to code, you’re exactly who we’re looking for!
Places are available on cohorts starting in September, October and November 2019. Please do not apply for this scheme if you can’t start the course during this time.
You can tell us which cohort you’d like to join in your online application, but we might have to bring forward or defer your start date depending on class sizes.
The deadline to apply for the Study Now, Pay Later scheme is Friday 23rd August 2019. In order to be considered, you'll need to pass the Northcoders Entry Challenge. Places will be allocated to the first 20 eligible applicants to pass the Entry Challenge, so we recommend you make applying and preparing for it a priority.
