How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

I wondered why I never did it sooner. Going from knowing the basics to advance methodology in software development has been a life changing experience. Even during difficult times the lecturers teach you how to adapt and figure out your own solutions to complex problems. And never forget, keep practicing , practice practice those katas!

What were you doing before the bootcamp and what made you apply?

Working as a CAD draftsman where I discovered I could automate my work with basic coding, I wanted to explore more within the world of coding.

What was the support like on the course?

I had non-stop support throughout the entire course and beyond. Even after graduation Northcoders will assist in getting you that first software development role.

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

Keely at Northcoders has been very understanding and supportive throughout, understanding my needs and finding ways to make my CV / Cover Letter reflect who I am and what I'm looking for. It wasn't long after that, Numiko found me as a great fit based on my humility first and my coding skills second.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

Know what you don't know and just try it. There is a vast community willing to help you down the way especially at Northcoders. Once a Northcoder always a Northcoder.
