How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

I've had the time of my life! I've met some wonderful people and had the opportunity to be creative in a truly supportive environment.

What were you doing before the bootcamp and what made you apply?

I worked in IT support for a global corporation. I'd been looking to get into coding for about 2 years before finally taking the plunge and applying for Northcoders.

What was the support like on the course?

Various one-to-ones, mentor meetings and general 'catch up' chats. The teaching team are some of the most intelligent, caring and genuinely brilliant people that I've met. I felt supported and understood throughout the entirety of the course due to the attentiveness of the tutors.

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

Steph was marvellous! She was quick to respond to queries, questions and job application requests. I felt like my best interests were being looked out for by Northcoders through Steph and the team.
The hiring partner jobs available were varied, exciting and crazy interesting.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

It's the best decision you'll make - you just have to dedicate yourself!
