Northcoders is the UK's leading coding school for graduate outcomes.

We help people with little or no technical knowledge or experience, teach them to code, and help them find rewarding work as software developers.

Business Developer

About The Job

We are now hiring a Business Developer to identify and engage with companies in the North of England who will want to hire our outstanding Software Developer graduates. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a fulfilling position at a company that is making a real, positive difference.

> Seek out new business opportunities by identifying companies that need to grow their software teams in the North

> Undertake lead generation activity, following up on those leads and organising calls and meetings

> Build, manage and maintain excellent relationships with all clients, students and employees

> Ensure that all sales and client activity is appropriately logged within our CRM

> Attend events and meetups to speak with industry leaders and key decision makers.

What We're Looking For

> An interest in tech

> A background in business development, recruitment or commercial sales

> A confident, approachable person who is happy to speak to potential new clients in person or over the phone

> Hard working, conscientious and take pride in your work

> A high degree of self-motivation and drive

> A strong commercial awareness

> Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Facts

Reporting to - Sales Director

Full-Time

Salary - £35,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience)

Location - Manchester and Leeds

Holiday - 25 days + Bank Holidays

Partnerships Host & Researcher

About the Job

We’re thriving – and with a growing student base and a growing team, we are now hiring a Partnerships Host & Researcher to welcome clients to our campus, and identify and engage with companies in the North of England looking for software developers.

> Seek out new business opportunities by identifying companies that need to grow their software teams in the North

> Generate leads, follow them up and organise calls and meetings

> Keep abreast of industry events

> Handle inbound calls and emails

> Ensure that all sales and client activity is appropriately logged in our CRM

> Greet clients and visitors

> Help to organise and maintain office common areas

> Keep abreast of industry events

> Organise meeting rooms & communal spaces within our campus in preparation for upcoming events such as client meetings, board meetings and training courses

> Perform general office clerk duties and errands

> Coordinate events

> Aide with client reception as needed

What We're Looking For

> You’re a confident, approachable person who is happy to speak to potential new clients in person or over the phone

> A background in business development, recruitment or commercial sales

> You’re hard-working, conscientious and take pride in your work

> At least a passing interest in tech is important (we’re a tech company!)

> Your verbal and written communication skills are excellent

Head of B2B Marketing

About the Job

We are now hiring a Head of B2B Marketing to manage all aspects of our business-facing marketing process.

> Create the strategic plan for all B2B products

> Attending relevant events

> Running events that attract both Northcoders and the wider tech community

> Work closely with the technical team to promote what they are developing

> Working closely with the business development and sales teams to turn develop new ideas and products

> Creating and developing marketing materials including advertisements and promotional campaigns

> Ensuring brand identity is consistent across all forms of communication both internally and externally. This is both on and offline communications

> Work with our B2C Marketing Department to deliver a consistent, holistic business-wide marketing strategy
