Movember Fundraising Target Exceeded by Team Northcoders
Northcoders took part in Movember 2018 and smashed their fundraising target for charity!
The Movember Foundation is an independent charity aiming to raise awareness of issues affecting men's health, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide. The organisation hopes to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030.
This year, we had a fantastic team of students and staff members taking part. Here they are on the first day of Movember.Â
And at the two week mark their Mos were coming along nicely...

The team embraced their upper lips and diligently cared for their Mos all month long and quickly smashed their initial fundraising target of £500. And it wasn't long before they exceeded their second target of £1,000.
By the end of the month, they managed to raise a staggering £1,200 for charity!
Here they are on the final day of Movember.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, taken part and supported the charity in November. This cause is very close to our hearts and we are incredibly proud of our community for getting behind the team this year.Â
Find out more about the team and why they chose to get involved on our Movember fundraising page.Â
