How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

Northcoders is the most welcoming and inclusive community of people and I couldn't have chosen a more perfect environment to develop my skills as a Software Engineer.

What were you doing before the Bootcamp?

Before Northcoders I had recently graduated from my Master's degree in Mathematics. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, until I discovered coding. I taught myself some coding basics before the course but felt that I needed a helping hand to be able to begin my tech career. I couldn't be happier with my decision to join the bootcamp!

What was the support like on the course?

All of the tutors at Northcoders are super inspiring and they were always happy to help. Not only with coding problems, but also general worries or concerns. I couldn't have gotten through the course without the lovely tutors!

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

The Careers Team were super helpful and had various different sessions and workshops to attend. Everything from CV/Cover Letter writing, to mock interviews - they were extremely committed to helping us all on our search for tech roles.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

If you have been thinking about switching careers and have an interest in tech, go ahead and apply - you won't regret it!
