How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

It was great to meet new people who were like-minded and eager to learn like myself. Tutors were friendly, patient and easy to speak to and I got along with everyone very well.

What were you doing before the Bootcamp?

I was training to be an accountant but was always interested in software development and tech but didn't know how to get into the field with no prior experience.

What was the support like on the course?

The mentoring team were great, they were patient, flexible and always willing to help and go out of their way to make sure I understood things.

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

The employment team helped me create a CV for the tech industry and cover letter which included all of the new skills I learned during the bootcamp. This helped me get noticed more by employers. The team were informative, helpful and understood the industry very well.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

Take your time with it and understand the basic concepts well, this will allow you to learn more complex things easier.
