How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

Before joining Northcoders I had never coded before and didn’t really know what it was. After completing my time at Northcoders the number one thing I now love doing is coding. All that is due to the way Northcoders have taught me and explained everything perfectly!!

What were you doing before the Bootcamp and what made you apply?

I was a teacher before I was at Northcoders. I wanted to work and do something that I loved and enjoyed waking up to every morning.

What was the support like on the course?

During the course, I had nothing but support from my personal mentors and from the other mentors also. They never hesitated to help and give a moment of their time to explain and re-explain stuff we didn’t understand.

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

Towards the last few weeks of the bootcamp, we were given lots of support from the careers team for preparing us for interviews and tech tests. Every day there were new jobs and updates which was great!

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

Believe in yourself and your own abilities, put your mind to it and everything will work out.
