How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

It was amazing. I can’t speak highly enough of the course or the people who run it.

What were you doing before the bootcamp and what made you apply?

My experience was mostly in restaurant management and then I became a PA. I needed something to challenge me mentally whilst valuing me as a person. This is what I found with coding.

What was the support like on the course?

One time, I made a really annoying, hard to find error in my code. Two members of staff stayed back 30 minutes after closing because they were as dumbfounded as me as to how I’d manage to do what I’d done. I think that just shows the real interest and passion in both coding and myself.

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

I was made an offer the first working day after I completed the course. However whilst still on the course, Josh helped prep for that interview and gave me great advice which I feel helped me secure that position.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

Apply for the course and try the free preparation materials, there is no financial commitment until any doubt is gone.

Anything else you'd like to add?

My life is infinitely better. The course is great in that it teaches you everything you need to get an amazing job afterwards.
