How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

I enjoyed everything about my time with Northcoders. The staff clearly enjoy their jobs and approach their teaching or support work with enthusiasm. The course came at a time in my life when I was looking for a change in direction. The course has left me with the tools and confidence to begin a career in tech.

What were you doing before the Bootcamp?

I was working in property management and had reached the top of the ladder in terms of income and was wanting more of a challenge in daily tasks.

What was the support like on the course?

The mentoring team/site staff were always friendly and helpful when things became overwhelming as there was a lot to learn and the pace of learning was fast.

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

It was good to have direction when producing a resume as it had been along time since I had needed one. They were always checking in with us to see if we needed help or support such as practice interview questions.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

Be prepared to commit 100% as it's intensive. It will often feel overwhelming and you may feel like everyone else understands things way quicker than you do. However at some point, things will click and you will be freewheeling down the other side of that mountain.
