How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

I took a leap of faith to pursue my passion.

Leaving my full-time job as a sales representative to join the Northcoders bootcamp was a huge step towards my goal to become a Software Engineer. The pace of the course is rigorous but echoes the sort of problem-solving under tight time frames that will occur on the job. Lectures are structured in a way that you don't spend the whole time doing code-along, but instead understand the problems you are solving. This course provides the necessary skills to thrive in a commercial development environment.

I enrolled in remote learning and it stretched me in ways of learning and pair programming that were so helpful. The tutors were great, very helpful and always available for feedback or review.

2 weeks after completing the course I landed a job as a Software Engineer in a startup company, and I couldn't be happier.

Joining this bootcamp was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I'd definitely recommend this bootcamp to anyone that wants to jump-start their career.

What were you doing before the Bootcamp and what made you apply?

Prior to joining Northcoders bootcamp, I was a Sales Representative at an e-commerce company but I have always been passionate about technologies and programming hence why I decided to leave my full-time job to pursue my passion.

What was the support like on the course?

The mentors were great! and always available for feedback or review. This would not have been possible without their support. I couldn't thank them enough.
