Quality Assurance to Full-Stack Developer
Mihaita
Junior Full-Stack Web Developer at Korelogic
How did you find your time on the bootcamp?
It was the most challenging and rewarding time I ever invested. You have your katas and your sprints, and you are building software and hunting bugs, and you do pair programming - there are so many things going on. Yet, at the end of every day, you have this sense of calm and tranquillity because you know you've taken another step in the right direction, you've pushed the boundries and accomplished so much.
You don't even have to ask for guidance because someone is already by your side, in the trenches, getting their hands dirty shoulder to shoulder with you. One word describes them perfectly - professionals.
What were you doing before the bootcamp and what made you apply?
I worked for Amazon in the Inventory Check and Quality Assurance department before joining Northcoders and although the job was alright, it was not was I wanted to do - I was actively looking to break into the world of computers, coding and building the future.
What was the support like on the course?
From the moment you set foot in, you know you are part of a family - the support you get is amazing. Most of the time you don't even have to ask for guidance because someone is already by your side, in the trenches, getting their hands dirty shoulder to shoulder with you.
How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?
The talent team was absolutely amazing in supporting my search for a job - the proof is that one week after I started applying for jobs I landed an offer. One word describes them perfectly - professionals.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?
Take the red pill.
Anything else you would like to add?
I cannot overstress the support and the amount of help you get from the team. You're the best!
