How did you find your time on the bootcamp?

It’s been brilliant. I started with little confidence of actually being able of becoming a software developer, but during my time at NC - I did not only learn how to code but also learned how much I’m capable of.

What were you doing before the bootcamp and what made you apply?

I worked in SEO, and I always was interested in coding. I felt like there was an actual future in coding.

What was the support like on the course?

Lovely, the tutors were excellent. My tutor Jonny has helped me through a lot of difficult moments, which I’m grateful for.

How much support did you receive from Northcoders with your job search after the course?

Not only was the job board very clear and easy to apply for - but to add to that, the team helped me negotiate a better salary.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying?

It’s a learning curve, but as long as you persevere you can become a software developer too.
